Tax Accountant (f/m/d) 80% - 100%

About the role

LGT, the largest private banking and asset management group owned by an entrepreneurial family and the family office of the Princely House of Liechtenstein, is hiring a Tax Accountant (f/m/d) for 80% to 100% time in Bendern. The role covers corporate income tax, Pillar Two and other tax reporting within a group setting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated current and deferred tax calculations and the IFRS tax note for the financial statements.
• Coordinate the external service provider responsible for corporate income tax and QDMTT returns, tax payments and filing deadlines across the relevant jurisdictions.
• Drive the preparation of the Pillar Two GloBE Information Return (GIR) and the Liechtenstein QDMTT return.
• Support non-client tax reporting and accounting, including corporate income tax, withholding taxes and VAT.
• Work closely with Group Accounting, local finance teams, auditors and external tax advisers to resolve queries and keep audit-ready records and process documentation.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Five to ten years of relevant experience at an accounting firm or in an in-house tax or finance team; experience in financial services is an advantage.
• Very good written and spoken English, and good spoken German for everyday work.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of IFRS tax accounting, particularly IAS 12, and familiarity with Pillar Two and withholding tax requirements.
• Strong analytical skills, able to explain complex matters to different stakeholders and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
