Junior Accountant – Group Accounting & Digitalisation

About the role

LGT, the largest private banking and asset management group owned by an entrepreneurial family and the family office of the Princely House of Liechtenstein, is hiring a Junior Accountant for its Group Accounting department in Bendern. The role combines day-to-day accounting work with the development of data flows, reporting and processes, using data and technology to improve them.

Key responsibilities

• Support the team with day-to-day accounting tasks and use new technologies, including AI, to improve processes effectively and safely.
• Gradually take responsibility for the accounting of an investment company and other group companies, and contribute to monthly and annual closings.
• Help develop data flows and transformation processes in Microsoft Fabric and create digital reporting solutions.
• Build knowledge of securities accounting using Moneysoft and of the Microsoft Fabric solution, and provide cover in both areas.
• Develop data-driven analyses and automations for accounting and reporting processes, and improve data flows and interfaces.

Required profile

• Solid foundation in accounting from relevant vocational training, a degree or practical accounting experience.
• Initial hands-on experience in data preparation and integration, reporting and process automation.
• An interest in developing accounting and technical skills, and willingness to undertake targeted further training.
• Analytical, meticulous approach and interest in turning business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Very good German and English.
