Internal Auditor 80%-100%

About the role

LGT, the largest privately owned Private Banking and Asset Management group in the world and the family office of the Princely House of Liechtenstein, is hiring an Internal Auditor working 80% to 100% of the time in Bendern. The role contributes to audit activities, process analysis and risk identification, and involves work across several specialist areas.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct internal audits in close collaboration with local and global audit teams and the Group Head of Internal Audit
• Analyse and develop business processes and the internal control system to improve efficiency, security and resilience
• Identify weaknesses and risks in business processes and help develop effective solutions
• Carry out audit engagements across different subject areas, supported by training and professional development
• Identify optimisation opportunities and support the development of processes and structures
• Present audit findings, draft solutions and recommendations, prepare reports and discuss results with the departments involved
• Support external auditors and ensure an efficient exchange of information
• Collaborate on monitoring and assessing projects of LGT Private Banking companies in Liechtenstein

Required profile

• Several years of professional experience in internal or external auditing or banking
• Knowledge of and interest in the financial sector, preferably private banking
• Analytical thinking, willingness to take responsibility, conscientiousness and teamwork
• Very good written and spoken German and English
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Required skills

• Experience and knowledge of data analytics is an advantage
