Trainee – Group Markets & Trading Compliance (12‑month fixed‑term)

About the role

Join LGT’s Group Markets & Trading Compliance team in Bendern for a 12‑month fixed‑term trainee programme. You will support the monitoring of market abuse alerts across multiple jurisdictions and contribute to the development of reporting tools.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and track alerts originating from Singapore, Hong Kong and occasionally Liechtenstein.
• Prepare and distribute monthly compliance reports for all locations within the Group.
• Participate in project work related to the implementation of a new global market‑abuse tool.
• Process the location‑monitoring report for EU and APAC regions.
• Design and generate a new monthly report using Power BI.
• Extract data dumps from market‑abuse tools to serve as the basis for new analyses.

Required profile

• Degree in economics or currently studying economics.
• Strong affinity for IT tools and data handling.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English.
• Team player with good communication skills, initiative, reliability and professional manners.
