Senior Audit Manager - Financial Services

About the role

A Financial Services Audit team in Schaan, Liechtenstein is looking for an experienced audit professional to join its team. The role involves a diverse portfolio of financial sector clients and complex audit assignments in an international environment. The position is permanent and full-time, based in Schaan.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and perform statutory audits of annual and consolidated financial statements with the team.
• Conduct regulatory audits in line with applicable requirements.
• Manage client relationships across banking, insurance, pension funds, asset management and investment funds.
• Lead specialised assignments such as licensing audits, agreed-upon procedures and advisory projects.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the Financial Services Audit department.

Required profile

• Recognised professional qualification as a CPA, Chartered Auditor or equivalent, meeting Liechtenstein requirements.
• At least four years of relevant experience in financial services auditing or within a financial institution.
• Fluent German, with good professional English.
• Already eligible to work in Liechtenstein as a cross-border commuter; visa sponsorship, relocation assistance and residence permit support are not available.
• An international audit or consulting background is an advantage.
