Policy Experts Specialized in AI

About the role

AINTU International A/S is preparing a proposal for the European Commission’s “Supporting the AI Observatory” project and seeks experienced Policy Experts specialized in Artificial Intelligence. The role supports the implementation of the AI Observatory, providing evidence‑based insights into AI adoption across strategic sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis, desk research and policy research on AI developments, adoption and deployment across strategic sectors.
• Analyse AI‑related trends, opportunities and challenges, including implications for the economy, labour markets, productivity, skills and society.
• Support the development and monitoring of indicators to assess AI uptake, investments, skills, computing infrastructure and broader impact.
• Identify and assess AI use cases across relevant sectors, evaluating maturity, scalability, impact and adoption potential.
• Prepare analytical reports, policy assessments and evidence‑based recommendations to support AI adoption and EU AI policy initiatives.
• Contribute to research on cross‑cutting challenges related to AI adoption and engage with stakeholders to validate findings.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of professional experience in data analysis and research in AI.
• Demonstrated experience in AI‑related research, analytical assignments or policy studies.
• Strong analytical, research and report‑writing skills.
• Ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative evidence and translate findings into clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in an international, multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with EU AI policies, the AI Act, Apply AI Strategy, AI governance or assessment of AI adoption is an advantage.
