Senior Compliance Officer – Competition Law

About the role
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated compliance professional to join our Global Compliance team as a Senior Compliance Officer – Competition Law. In this role you will design, implement and continuously improve Hilti’s global antitrust and competition law compliance framework.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and enhance the global competition law compliance framework, ensuring alignment with antitrust regulations across jurisdictions.
- Act as primary advisor on competition law matters, providing risk‑based guidance to Business, Legal and Compliance teams.
- Support review of cooperation agreements, joint ventures and other business arrangements, advising on interactions with competitors, customers and trade associations.
- Monitor regulatory developments and enforcement trends, translating legal requirements into actionable guidance.
- Conduct competition law risk assessments, develop mitigation measures and implement monitoring activities.
- Design and deliver training, awareness and engagement initiatives to promote competition law knowledge.
- Support investigations, reporting and governance activities while partnering with Legal, Internal Audit and senior leadership.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Law, Business Law, Compliance, Economics or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in competition law/antitrust, preferably in an international in‑house environment.
- Proven track record in compliance program management, risk assessments and business advisory.
- Strong knowledge of European and international competition law, including pricing, distribution and cartel prevention.
- Experience supporting internal investigations and remediation initiatives related to antitrust matters.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to translate complex legal requirements into practical guidance.
- High integrity, sound judgment and ability to work independently in a global matrix organization.
