Chief Executive Officer – Digital Assets

About the role

The Chief Executive Officer will lead the regulated European operation of an established international digital‑assets and payments group. Reporting to the Board and working closely with global leadership, the CEO will shape strategy, ensure regulatory compliance and drive commercial growth across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the European business and execute its growth strategy.
• Maintain constructive relationships with regulators and external stakeholders.
• Ensure strong governance, financial discipline and regulatory compliance.
• Develop the organisation’s products, partnerships and market presence.
• Build and lead a high‑performing local management team.
• Represent the business at board, regulatory and industry levels.
• Oversee operational resilience, risk management and client protection.

Required profile

• Senior executive experience in digital assets, fintech, payments, banking or another regulated financial‑services environment.
• Strong understanding of European financial regulation, governance and crypto‑asset markets.
• Credible regulatory standing, commercial judgement and ability to operate within an international group.
• Previous board or regulated‑entity leadership experience is strongly preferred.
• German‑language capability and experience in Liechtenstein, Switzerland or the wider DACH region is advantageous.
