Information Technology Specialist

About the role

The Information Technology Specialist is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Eschen, Liechtenstein. The role focuses on delivering day‑to‑day IT support to internal teams and external clients, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and network issues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line IT support, troubleshooting hardware, software and network problems.
• Manage and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls and VPNs.
• Maintain servers and connected systems, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity.
• Implement and uphold network security measures.
• Support cloud and on‑premises environments.
• Document technical procedures and create knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve IT processes.
• Deliver responsive customer service, train users on systems and escalate complex issues when needed.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in information technology with hands‑on experience in common operating systems and applications.
• Proficiency in network administration and security, including configuration and monitoring of routers, switches, firewalls and VPNs.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting ability across hardware, software and network domains.
• Customer‑service mindset with clear communication for non‑technical users.
• Experience with server management, cloud services and basic scripting/automation is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ or CCNA are advantageous.
• Ability to work on‑site in Eschen, collaborate in a multicultural environment and manage priorities in a dynamic setting.
• Fluent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
