Trainee in Group Markets & Trading Compliance (80-100%)

About the role

LGT is seeking a motivated trainee to join its Group Markets & Trading Compliance department at the Bendern office. This one‑year fixed‑term position offers exposure to global compliance monitoring across Singapore, Hong Kong, Liechtenstein and the EU/APAC regions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess alerts from Singapore, Hong Kong and occasionally Liechtenstein, tracking escalated cases.
• Prepare and distribute monthly compliance reports for all locations and the Group.
• Support project work for the rollout of a new global market‑abuse monitoring tool.
• Process the location monitoring report for EU/APAC.
• Design and generate a new monthly report using Power BI.
• Extract data from market‑abuse tools to create the basis for new reporting formats.

Required profile

• Degree in economics or currently studying economics.
• Strong affinity for IT tools and data handling.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English.
• Team player with good communication, initiative and reliability.
