Student AI & Automation Support for Finance (60-80%)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated, technology‑driven student to support our Finance and Accounting teams in adopting Artificial Intelligence and automation across a global finance organization. The role offers hands‑on experience at the intersection of finance and technology, working with stakeholders in multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the central implementation resource for AI and automation initiatives within Finance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Controlling and Local Accounting teams to identify process‑optimization opportunities.
• Design, build, test and maintain automation solutions using workflow tools, AI assistants and agents.
• Monitor deployed solutions and propose enhancements.
• Participate in finance‑wide digital transformation projects.

Required profile

• Ongoing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Finance or a related field.
• Theoretical understanding and initial practical experience with generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude), AI agents, prompt engineering and AI‑enabled workflow automation.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, low‑code/no‑code solutions; knowledge of Python or SQL is a plus.
• Strong English and German communication skills.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and service‑oriented mindset.
