Strategic Buyer – Global Indirect Procurement

About the role

You will independently lead strategic procurement projects within the Global Indirect Procurement division, covering services, equipment, consultancy, IT and software. You will shape procurement strategies, negotiate contracts and collaborate closely with research and development and other specialist teams at Ivoclar.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement projects, from market analysis and supplier sourcing to tendering, bid evaluation and negotiation strategy.
• Conduct independent negotiations, defining commercial frameworks including price, terms, conditions and contracts.
• Develop procurement strategies, using market analyses, benchmarks and tenders to identify alternatives, opportunities and risks.
• Create cost transparency, identify savings and optimization opportunities, and drive their implementation.
• Contribute to the evolution of Global Indirect Procurement and support the rollout of shared processes, standards and working methods.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent commercial/technical qualification; procurement training is a plus.
• Several years of experience in strategic (indirect) procurement in an international environment.
• Proven ability to prepare and conduct supplier negotiations with strong commercial and analytical skills.
• Independent, structured work approach with a willingness to take responsibility and drive projects forward.
• Fluency in German and English.
