Senior Procurement & Process Specialist

About the role

The Senior Procurement & Process Specialist will lead the development and continuous improvement of purchasing processes, standards, tools, and best practices. This role acts as the subject‑matter expert, coaching the purchasing team and driving efficiency, transparency, and cost control across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve purchasing processes, standards, tools, and best practices.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert and coordinate the purchasing team.
• Coach and develop team members and support organizational capability building.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency, transparency, automation, and cost control.
• Lead purchasing workstreams in ERP implementation and transformation projects.
• Drive change management, adoption of new processes, and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Develop KPIs and reporting to monitor purchasing performance and process quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of solid experience in procurement within engineered‑to‑order projects.
• Experience in developing and implementing procurement processes, standards, and best practices.
• Natural leadership skills with a genuine interest in mentoring and developing colleagues.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• EU/CH nationality or residency permit within EU/CH.
