Senior Partnerships Manager

About the role

Remote is looking for a Senior Partnerships Manager to lead its global referral partner motion. You will shape strategy across multiple verticals, drive pipeline generation, and build long‑term strategic relationships that expand Remote’s reach in the HR and payroll space.

Key responsibilities

• Build and own the global referral partner program, overseeing hundreds of high‑impact partners.
• Identify, prospect, negotiate, onboard, and manage referral partnerships across verticals such as accounting, tax, VC, legal, HR, payroll, finance, recruiting and advisory ecosystems.
• Define and execute a clear referral partner strategy, including segmentation, incentives, enablement and engagement models.
• Act as internal executive sponsor for key partners, guiding them from acquisition through activation, growth and retention.
• Design scalable programs to drive consistent, high‑quality referrals, including revenue‑share structures and co‑selling motions.
• Maintain deep product and market knowledge to support partners and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Prior experience in partnerships at HR‑tech or payroll companies.
• Proficiency with AI tools such as Claude Code and a proven track record of automating processes independently.
• Strong strategic judgment and execution capability in a first‑line operating role.
• Demonstrated self‑driven results that have moved products forward.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across business operations, sales, finance and revenue‑operations.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Bonus: experience working in a fully remote environment.
