Research Associate (Postdoc) in Artificial Intelligence (40-100%)

About the role

The University of Liechtenstein’s Professorship for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence is offering a Research Associate (Postdoc) position in Artificial Intelligence, starting 1 January 2027. The role is based at the Liechtenstein Business School in Vaduz and is intended for a researcher with a strong academic background.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent research in artificial intelligence, covering technical, socio‑technical, applied or theoretical aspects.
• Support teaching activities, academic administration, knowledge transfer, and assist in grant acquisition.

Required profile

• PhD in computer science, information systems, natural sciences, business administration or a related discipline.
• Strong publication record, including at least one A‑ranked paper (CORE, ABDC, VHB) or more than 50 citations on Google Scholar.
• Research interests in any AI domain; particular interest in Agentic AI is welcomed.
