Product Owner – Compliance (80-100%)

About the role

As a Product Owner for Group Compliance at LGT, you will lead the definition and delivery of technology‑enabled compliance solutions that meet both business and regulatory demands across the private banking group. You will act as the bridge between compliance, IT and senior business stakeholders, shaping the digital evolution of compliance capabilities worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Own and develop the product vision, roadmap and backlog for the compliance domain, balancing regulatory requirements, business value, risk and capacity.
• Translate regulatory, business and operational needs into clear, actionable requirements and prioritize initiatives accordingly.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including engineers, architects and other Product Owners—to turn requirements into effective, sustainable solutions.
• Represent the product to business stakeholders, technology teams and senior management, ensuring transparency on priorities, progress, dependencies and risks.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI‑based technologies to real‑world compliance challenges and continuously improve the product based on user feedback and regulatory developments.

Required profile

• Several years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst or a comparable role within financial services.
• Strong understanding of compliance, risk or regulatory processes in banking.
• Proven ability to work closely with technology teams and translate business needs into digital solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management skills with confidence to challenge senior stakeholders constructively.
• Strong communication skills in English; German is an advantage.
