Head of Operations

About the role

As Head of Operations at EFG Bank von Ernst AG in Vaduz, you will lead the local Operations function, ensuring efficient, compliant and timely execution of all operational activities across payments, securities, credit cards, client transfers and reconciliations. You will translate group‑wide operational and regulatory requirements into robust local processes, safeguarding client and account data integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day execution of local operational activities, including payments, client transfers, corporate actions, credit‑card loading, trade execution and reconciliations.
• Coach and manage a small Operations and Account Documentation Unit team, allocating resources to meet cut‑offs, service levels and regulatory deadlines.
• Act as primary escalation point between Front Office, Group Operations, Group Tax Services and local Compliance, resolving complex operational issues.
• Ensure local practices comply with internal policies, procedures and applicable regulations.
• Oversee implementation of new regulatory and infrastructure changes.

Required profile

• Significant experience in banking operations, preferably within private banking or asset management.
• Strong knowledge of operational and regulatory requirements in payments, securities and credit‑card processing.
• Proven leadership skills with ability to manage and develop a small team.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
