Global Trainee Program – Outperformer Software Track

About the role

Hilti’s Outperformer Software Track is a two‑year accelerated leadership traineeship designed for recent graduates who are technically sharp, commercially minded and internationally mobile. Participants will work on construction‑focused software solutions that connect jobsites, offices, teams and tools across the entire construction lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Start with a 12‑month customer‑facing or product‑marketing assignment to understand market needs and buying drivers.
• Complete three rotations (3–6 months each) across product management, engineering, strategy and international projects.
• Collaborate directly with customers, product teams and business leadership in Europe and beyond.
• Develop business acumen to prepare for future roles such as Business Owner, Business Director or Segment Manager.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (Master’s or equivalent) in construction management, civil/mechanical engineering, computer science or business with a software focus.
• Willingness and ability to relocate internationally multiple times.
• Strong curiosity about how software creates value in the physical world.
