Finance Expert – Remote Contractor

About the role

We are seeking experienced Finance and Accounting professionals to work remotely as contractors on a project that evaluates and improves AI‑generated accounting outputs. You will apply your accounting judgment and deep knowledge of financial systems to ensure the accuracy of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate AI‑generated accounting outputs for correctness, calculations, journal entries, and appropriate accounting treatments.
• Review and annotate financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and month‑end close workpapers, identifying errors and providing clear corrective rationale.
• Assess accounting workflows and financial systems logic across platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, and Dynamics 365.
• Apply written rubrics to rank and grade AI responses, and create realistic accounting scenarios for AI training.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in financial accounting, audit, bookkeeping, financial reporting, management or cost accounting, or FP&A.
• Proven track record preparing or reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Prior paid experience in AI training, data annotation, labeling, RLHF, or rubric‑based grading.
• Strong written and verbal English communication (B2 level or above) and ability to work independently.
