Embedded Applications Engineer (all genders)

About the role

Join our Research & Development team to create embedded software for cutting‑edge digital dentistry devices, from concept through market launch. You will work in an agile, multidisciplinary environment alongside electronics, hardware, and systems specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Develop embedded software using C++ for high‑tech medical devices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define architecture, design, and implement new features.
• Drive adoption of modern technologies and continuously improve existing systems.
• Contribute expertise in low‑level development, embedded operating systems, and testing frameworks.
• Support the transition of complex systems to series production.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in embedded software development with strong object‑oriented design skills.
• Deep knowledge of low‑level, hardware‑near development and embedded operating systems.
• Proficiency with professional development tools such as Git, Linux, and unit‑testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and ability to take ownership in interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong enthusiasm for technology, high quality standards, and fluency in German and English for daily collaboration.
