Biochemistry Expert – Remote Contractor

About the role

In this hourly, remote contractor position you will act as a Biochemistry Subject‑Matter Expert, reviewing and creating high‑quality AI‑generated biochemistry content. Your work will directly improve the scientific accuracy and clarity of large language models used across life‑science applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop prompts and gold‑standard answers covering metabolism, enzyme kinetics, protein structure, molecular biology, genetics, and related topics.
• Evaluate AI outputs for scientific correctness, reasoning quality, terminology, calculations, and safety, providing detailed written feedback.
• Identify and flag hallucinated mechanisms, unsafe advice, incorrect pathways, and unsupported claims.
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses, contributing to the continuous improvement of model performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemistry or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum three years of experience in biochemistry research, laboratory work, teaching, scientific writing, or life‑science quality assurance.
• Strong command of English (C1 level) to follow guidelines and produce detailed feedback.
• Ability to assess biochemical explanations, mechanisms, calculations, and experimental interpretations with high attention to detail.
