Abacus Finance & Power BI Specialist (80-100%)

About the role

We are seeking an Abacus Finance and Power BI Specialist to join LGT Financial Services AG. The role focuses on managing the Abacus finance system, extracting and transforming financial data, and building interactive Power BI dashboards to support reporting and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, maintain and optimise the Abacus Finance and Controlling system.
• Extract, transform and load financial data from multiple source systems into Abacus and reporting platforms.
• Create, validate and deliver financial reports using Abacus and Microsoft Power BI.
• Design, develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards that visualise performance indicators, trends and regulatory data.
• Analyse financial data, identify trends or anomalies and provide actionable recommendations.
• Identify and implement process improvements for data management and reporting.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, IT and other departments to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Document configurations, data models, reports and provide user training and support.

Required profile

• Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Business Information Systems or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial data reporting and analysis within the financial services industry.
• Hands‑on experience with accounting software; familiarity with Abacus is a plus.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain Power BI dashboards.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
