About the role

Join Hilti's dynamic headquarters in Schaan as a Strategic Category Manager, responsible for shaping global category strategy, driving supplier innovation and ensuring a resilient supply base.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the global category strategy, shaping the future supplier landscape.
• Lead complex negotiations and apply advanced sourcing methodologies to deliver cost, innovation, quality, sustainability and supply resilience.
• Collaborate with business units, engineering, operations, quality, sustainability and regional teams to align strategies with business priorities.
• Analyze market dynamics, raw‑material trends and geopolitical factors to identify risks and opportunities.
• Support new product development, localization and portfolio extension by defining sourcing concepts and ensuring supplier readiness.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
• Proven experience in purchasing or strategic sourcing projects with global cross‑functional teams.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; additional languages a plus.
