Software Development Engineer – R&D (All Genders)

About the role

You will shape the customer experience for the dental market by creating innovative software solutions. Working across desktop, mobile, web, cloud and 3D rendering, you will develop both new products and enhance existing ones.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain software applications using Microsoft technologies.
• Collaborate with designers, quality engineers, project managers and other stakeholders in cross‑functional teams.
• Contribute to software architecture decisions with a focus on security, maintainability and quality.
• Tackle challenging technical problems in high‑performance computing, cloud services and mathematical algorithms.
• Provide and receive constructive feedback to continuously improve the product.

Required profile

• Higher technical education in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Passion for software development and hands‑on experience with Microsoft technology stacks, especially C#.
• Strong understanding of clean‑code principles and software‑engineering best practices.
• Awareness of software architecture and security considerations.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
