Lean Manager – Manufacturing (Part‑time, 50%)

About the role

Join the Plant Lean Team as a Lean Manager (50% FTE) and use your expertise in Lean methodologies to drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing site. You will collaborate with cross‑functional partners—from logistics and product development to sales and customers—to embed a Lean mindset throughout the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Lead improvement projects and apply Lean tools to analyze and optimise manufacturing processes.
• Co‑create and implement process‑optimisation measures together with employees and managers.
• Develop and maintain a local Lean roadmap, prioritising and communicating improvement initiatives.
• Partner with plant leadership to integrate Lean practices into operational plans.
• Ensure sustainable implementation and follow‑up of Hilti Lean Core Systems.
• Coach and train managers and operators on Lean tools and methodologies.
• Participate in the global Lean community to share best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field (Master’s and Lean certifications are a plus).
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and Lean methods.
• Analytical, conceptual thinker with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and deliver structured results.
• Collaborative personality capable of inspiring others.
• Fluent in German and English.
