German Audio QA Annotation Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a native‑level German speaker to join our remote quality‑assurance team. The specialist will evaluate German audio recordings that are used to train and improve our speech‑recognition and conversational‑AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Listen to and assess German audio clips for pronunciation, fluency, clarity and background noise.
• Verify that annotations attached to each recording follow project guidelines.
• Identify and document audio defects such as inconsistent volume, mispronunciations or technical glitches.
• Provide structured feedback to annotators and suggest corrective actions.
• Maintain consistent quality standards across the multilingual dataset.
• Record review outcomes in the QA tracking system.

Required profile

• Native‑level fluency in German with excellent listening comprehension.
• At least one year of experience in audio quality assurance, annotation, transcription review, voice‑over, dubbing or related language‑quality work.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot subtle pronunciation or audio issues.
• Good understanding of German regional accents, grammar and natural speech patterns.

• Audio playback and annotation tools (e.g., Audacity, Praat, or proprietary platforms).
