Desktop Support Specialist - L2

About the role

The Desktop Support Specialist (L2) is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Eschen, Liechtenstein. You will provide day‑to‑day technical assistance for desktop computers, peripherals and printers, ensuring minimal downtime for end users while adhering to Techwelt’s service standards and security procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot desktop hardware, peripherals and printers.
• Respond to support tickets, diagnose hardware and software issues, apply fixes or escalate when necessary.
• Perform routine health checks, support deployments and roll‑outs, and coordinate with remote teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed and communicate consistently with internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience supporting desktops in a corporate or enterprise environment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, operating systems and common business applications.
• Ability to provide reliable printer support, including installation and configuration.
• Knowledge of basic networking concepts, user account management and endpoint security best practices.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English; additional local language skills are a plus.
• Relevant vocational training or certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft) is preferred.
