Assistant Relationship Manager – EAM Germany/UK

About the role

LGT is expanding its EAM International team and seeks an Assistant Relationship Manager to support the German and UK external asset manager business. You will work closely with senior relationship managers, handling day‑to‑day client interactions and ensuring smooth operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to the EAM Germany and EAM UK teams in business development with external asset managers.
• Manage daily operations such as client correspondence, account opening, compliance checks, and pending‑item management.
• Process securities, FX, derivatives, and payment orders efficiently.
• Assist in preparing and following up on client and acquisition meetings, including travel arrangements, agenda management, presentations, and correspondence.
• Coordinate client events together with Marketing and support relationship managers at representative events.

Required profile

• Completed banking apprenticeship or commercial training with several years of experience in private banking or EAM.
• Advanced qualification in banking or business administration is a plus.
• Knowledge of international regulatory frameworks (cross‑border rules, MiFID, AML, etc.).
• Committed, structured, proactive personality with strong initiative.
• Excellent client focus, polished manners, and strong communication skills.
• Fluent in German (written & spoken) and good English proficiency.
