Excel Specialist (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Excel Specialist to work remotely on a contract basis. You will help design realistic business scenarios and evaluate AI‑generated Office documents, ensuring they meet professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and simulate complex business scenarios using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, reflecting real‑world projects.
• Engage in multi‑turn conversations with a large language model, presenting detailed prompts and reviewing AI‑generated deliverables.
• Create, edit, and assess .xlsx.docx, and .pptx files, comparing two AI solutions and selecting the preferred output.
• Document feedback and provide side‑by‑side preference data to improve AI model quality, accuracy, and business relevance.
• Contribute domain‑specific insights across multiple industries and business functions.
• Communicate findings clearly in written and verbal formats for the AI training team.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of professional experience in Fortune 500 environments using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word on high‑impact projects.
• Background in roles such as private‑equity associate, investment‑banking analyst, junior consultant, FP&A analyst, HR or marketing strategist.
• Proven ability to design use cases for strategy, operations, sales, finance, or HR functions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Experience interacting with LLMs or writing long‑form AI prompts is a strong plus.
