Senior Internal Auditor (80-100% FTE)

About the role

LGT is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join its internal audit function on a 80‑100% basis. You will work closely with local and global audit teams, as well as the Group Head of Internal Audit, to strengthen the control environment across the private banking and asset management business.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal audit engagements in collaboration with global audit teams.
• Assess business processes and the internal control system, recommending improvements for efficiency and security.
• Identify weaknesses, potential risks, and propose effective remediation solutions.
• Conduct audits across a variety of specialist areas, continuously expanding subject‑matter knowledge.
• Prepare structured audit reports, present findings to stakeholders, and discuss recommendations.
• Support external auditors and facilitate efficient information exchange.
• Assist in monitoring and evaluating projects undertaken by LGT Private Banking entities in Liechtenstein.

Required profile

• Higher education in business administration or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA or CIA.
• Several years of experience in internal or external audit, preferably within the financial sector.
• Strong analytical mindset, responsibility, and teamwork orientation.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English.
