Remote GitHub Contributor – Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced software contributor to work remotely on a contract basis. You will provide high‑quality code samples, debugging strategies, and development insights across multiple programming languages, helping to enrich our open‑source and AI‑training repositories.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver expert‑level code snippets, bug‑fixes, and performance optimizations in Python3, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript.
• Analyze complex defects, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and propose robust solutions.
• Implement new features with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and best‑practice compliance.
• Refactor legacy code to improve readability, efficiency, and long‑term reliability.
• Document technical reasoning, solution approaches, and code decisions to support AI training data quality.
• Review and validate peer contributions for accuracy and clarity.

Required profile

• Significant hands‑on expertise in at least one of the listed programming languages.
• Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and core software engineering principles.
• Proven ability to debug complex systems and deliver effective optimizations.
• Experience modernizing large codebases and legacy systems.
• Strong written communication skills for clear technical documentation.
• Interest in AI challenges (prior AI experience not required).
